Right here on Linarite I post about the various projects I’m working on. Typically I post smaller updates on Mastodon, but here is where I post larger updates on my project. After all, Mastodon is for micro-blogging, this is regular blogging, see the difference? This post will quickly cover the other two services running here.
Iced Tea (Gitea)
This is where I store my git projects. It is a standard Gitea instance, and it is LFS-enabled allowing for more media intensive projects to be hosted on it. Issue tracking, and wikis are available. It is the standard Gitea goodness, a great alternative to GitHub. It is all self-hosted, your data is safe here.
Linarite Toot Caverns (Mastodon)
Not really useful for development, but a fun side project for me. It is mastodon! The federated micro-blogging network. It is like Twitter, but with far more control over your data. You can join a like-minded community or create your own, I created my own. I enjoy it, even if I do not post too often. I’m a bit busy, you know?
